You can use the Extended Search form to look for a specific standard by its reference number. If the search cannot find the reference number you have entered among ISO published standards, it will automatically search among withdrawn standards, which then give replacement information if applicable. If you still cannot find the standard you are looking for, select the option "Both" in the Search Scope section of the search form. By doing this you will also be looking for projects of standards that haven't been published yet.

If you still cannot find the standard you are looking for, you possibly have a wrong reference number or a reference number that is not related to an ISO standard. Check that the standard's reference number begins with the prefix "ISO", "ISO/IEC" or "IWA" (International Workshop Agreement). For information on standards developed by other standard bodies, please contact the ISO member for your country.
